Elizabeth Duda is the Government Affairs Committee Manager for the American Retirement Association (ARA), which educates and informs retirement benefits professionals and advocates for policies that give every working American the ability to have a comfortable retirement. In her role, Elizabeth facilitates the majority of the government affairs committee’s activities for the ARA and its member organizations, which include the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), the American Society of Enrolled Actuaries (ASEA), the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), the National Tax-deferred Savings Association (NTSA), and the Plan Sponsor Council of America (PSCA). In addition, she manages NAPA D.C. Fly-In meetings for constituents and grassroots campaigns. Before joining the ARA in January 2013, Elizabeth worked as a Senior Level Administrative Assistant at AECOM, supporting several executives in the engineering services. She has also interned for the European Union Delegation to the United States, focusing on foreign affairs and equal opportunity at the Office of Equal Opportunity, Fashion, and Tourism for the Municipal Office of Florence, Italy.
Elizabeth has a Master of Arts in Political Science, European Union Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Modern Foreign Languages from James Madison University.
