Meet the ARA Government Affairs Team
The members of ARA’s Government Affairs team have a wealth of industry-related legislative, legal and regulatory expertise, gained from working on Capitol Hill, in federal agencies, for relevant national associations and in the private sector. Collectively, the team has nearly 150 years of industry and public policy experience with an average of 18.5 years. These experts are uniquely positioned to help policy makers grasp complex retirement plan issues and to represent the industry to stakeholders and the media.
The team provides ARA and its member organizations with insights on a host of current and emerging retirement policy issues. It also guides ARA’s advocacy activities and advises on all aspects of the retirement plan industry, including the effects policy changes are likely to have on employees’ retirement security.
